The Advantage CA-Visual Objects RDDs is intended for programmers who wish to create new applications or modify existing CA-Visual Objects 2.x or newer applications to work with the Advantage Database Server or Advantage Local Server. Advanced Advantage functions are provided to go beyond the CA-Visual Objects defined language. These advanced functions allow you to fine tune your application to maximize the benefits of Advantage and client/server technology.
Examples of Advantage advanced functionality include: transaction processing, referential integrity, database encryption, database security, store procedures, triggers, data dictionary and more.
